Greetings! I am Joseph Isaac Jr., M.S. I’m a Human-Centered Computing Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Florida in the Computing for Social Good Lab under the advisement of Dr. Juan Gilbert. My research interests are K-12 CS education, broadening participation in computing, human-computer interaction (HCI), and user experience (UX). My dissertation work investigates pedagogies to increase the interest and persistence of Black male adolescents in computer science in the United States.
